Marcy's section of the tree also features old yankees marrying old yankees. Marcy, however, is not from the Brockton and Hingham region, the South Shore of Boston. Marcy is from New Hampshire, from the region of Rye and Hampton.
The pattern of distant relatives marrying holds, however. Hampton seems much like Hingham in that respect. I suspect there are other examples to be found. The Dearborn family is very large in the Hampton area.
On other pages, I have posted the names of towns when a given clump of families have stayed in one place for a while. On this page, it seems pointless. Hampton, North Hampton, Hampton Falls and Rye New Hampshire dominate the page.
